NANJING ROAD REVITALIZATION
Nanjing Road, with a length of 4 kilometers, is an important part of Tianjin Inner Ring Road. As one of the main roads, it runs through the city commercial and business center. The core of our design is to provide a solution to ease traffic pressure, meet public transportation needs and to deal with parking problems in Nanjing Area. Our design provides development strategies on space, environment, landscape, green space layout, economy and market, and will be implemented at two main areas: the business plaza of St. Joseph's Cathedral Church (Xikai Church) and Xiaobailou CBD. Our goal is to establish an open area in Tianjin central area, combined with optimized transportation system, to show the regional economy, culture and historical features.
